O My Brothers Mau Pete

Bonded: 12-01-11
Bonding: A Clockwork Ebbik - Gatsby
Rank: Mau
Gender: Male

There doesn’t seem to be anything particularly special about this Mau. He seems to be the most unassuming of the bunch what with his dusty blue-grey coat. It’s ticked through with large inky spots, thickening to bands around his legs and tail. His underside is a fair few shades lighter than the rest of his short fur, though his silver fur does lighten around his bright pink nose. The only thing particularly remarkable about his appearance is the one stray tick, or blotch rather, that landed over his left eye. It looks blacked out, as if someone punched him in the face. Why anyone would want to punch a saber-toothed cat who enjoys being the size of a large horse, no one knows.

A first impression of this Mau would most certainly tell you that he’s invisible and that’s simply not the case. He’s quite visible, thank you. He just tends to be the most rational and least violent of all his siblings. He’s not a droog to cause any of the trouble, more than anything he’s in it to solve the disputes. By and large, he’ll keep to himself in T’Rae’s treehouse. But if she needs some companionship, he’ll willingly oblige. And if she needs some voice of reason, this Mau is there to offer it. She’ll find that once he’s home, this Mau will renounce violence for the rest of his life unless provoked, but provoking a feline with saber teeth and sharp claws is a tad foolish. Even then, he’ll only fight to calm things down instead of win. That whole “my brother’s keeper” thing? Yeah, that’s kind of sums this Mau up except it’d be more of a “my Vulcan’s keeper.”

Pain in the Gulliver Abyssinian Georgie

Bonded: 12-01-11
Bonding: A Clockwork Ebbik - Gatsby
Rank: Abyssinian
Gender: Male

Though he might not be able to change size like his siblings, this Abyssinian doesn’t run around with his tail between his legs. He keeps his head held up high, a rather proud looking creature despite the rather pronounced kink in his tail.. His fur is the richest of caramels, darkening around his paws and the tip of his tail as if he were just dipped in it. He does appear to be strangely wet, after all. Even still, the smear of yellow and cyan paint near his left eye never seems to wash off. And neither does that conniving, greedy look he wears on his feline face. His green eyes are always shifting around, looking for this or that. Might want to beware the small ones.

It would almost be a safe bet to say that this Ebbik was more fox than feline. Almost, considering that isn’t exactly plausible. But, this Abyssinian surely has a furtive manner. He’s all about the undermining and the undercutting. He’s that little devil sitting on T’Rae’s shoulder telling her that she should have this or that and all the no-good ways to get what she wants. Why shouldn’t he and his Vulcan rise to the top of all the ladders their hearts desire? Of course, he might have a different plan today than he will tomorrow as the Abyssinian has quite the tendency to flip-flop so that he’s always on the winning team, the head of the winning team. He’s quick to tattle and throw everyone under the bus if he thinks it’ll get him ahead and even though she’s his bonded, T’Rae isn’t entirely safe from all his undermining either. Hopefully, he doesn’t end up upsetting the wrong Whazzitian (but of course he will).
